Information we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the name, email, phone number, city, service type, and description you provide, plus a hashed form of your IP address and your browser user agent for spam prevention. When you create an account or submit a listing we collect your account email and the business details you enter.
How we use it
Quote request details are shared with the security companies that match your city and service type so they can respond. Account and listing data is used to operate your listing. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and retention
Data is stored in a managed relational database in the United States with encrypted backups. Quote requests are retained for up to 24 months so we can resolve disputes, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, including California CCPA/CPRA rights, by emailing privacy@securityexplorer.com. We respond within 45 days.
Third parties
We use service providers for hosting, database storage, transactional email, and payment processing for business listings. They process data only on our instructions.
