Security Explorer helps California businesses, property managers, HOAs, and event organizers find licensed security companies without wading through paid-placement noise.

How listings get published

Every listing — submitted or claimed — is reviewed by a person before it appears. We check that the company exists, that its stated license number is plausible and matches the business name, and that its described services and coverage areas are consistent.

What we will not do

We do not invent reviews, ratings, badges, or "top rated" rankings. A verification badge appears only where we have recorded evidence. Paid plans affect placement and features, never whether a listing is approved, and paid placement is labeled.

Coverage

We launched in California with Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco. Additional cities open when enough reviewed providers actually serve them, so we never publish an empty page just because a city exists.
